New York: €459 Non-Stop Singapore Airlines Flights from Frankfurt (With 2x23kg Luggage)

New York Skyline with Brooklyn Bridge

For the better part of two decades, Star Alliance member Singapore Airlines has been operating a fifth-freedom-flight between Frankfurt, Germany and New York‘s JFK airport. Currently, tickets are available for less than usual, pricing out at €459. As its standard with the airline, the fare includes two checked bags of 23 kg and full board service, including alcoholic beverages like the airlines’ signature Singapore Sling cocktail.

While Singapore Airlines does not offer the cheapest ticket on any of the dates, it is the cheapest option when including checked bags. Departures are available in November 2025 and January 2026.

Our availability calendar highlights possible flight dates at the lowest price for trips up to 28 days. There might be more dates available. It will forward you to Vayama with your selected flight dates.

Singapore Airlines deploys their Boeing 777-300ER fleet on these flights. It features a generous seat pitch, personal entertainment for every seat and a more spacious 3-3-3 seat alignment, compared to the 3-4-3 most airlines installed in their Boeing 777 aircraft.

Visa Info

Most Europeans need an electronic system for travel authorization (ESTA) to enter the USA for up to 90 days. This costs US$40 (~€34) and you should apply for it a couple of days before your trip, at the latest.

There are some cases where you cannot apply for an ESTA, e.g. if you’ve been to Cuba since 2021 or to Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, or North Korea since March 2011. In those cases, you’ll need to get a visa from a US embassy or consulate, which can take multiple weeks.

Search & Book

The offer imposes no restrictions, such as a sales period or minimum stay. We found available dates in November 2025 and January 2026, but the fare rules mention that available dates are in November 2025 and between January 6 and March 12, 2026.

Sadly, Google Flights does not preview all the flights accurately. You can search for more dates manually, using trial-and-error to find suiting flights. While you may find cheaper tickets through online travel agencies like vayama, we strongly recommend booking on Singapore Airlines’ website. There, you can also search by using the best price calendar.

Why is booking with an airline better than with an online travel agency?

More often than not, online travel agencies offer lower fares than airlines do. We still recommend booking with the airlines directly. There are two main reasons for that:

Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.

If a travel agency issues your ticket, you may have to reach out to them first. You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline. In many cases, you may get a prime exhibition of responsibility shifting rather than problem-solving.

This especially applies to premium tickets. You don’t want to spend more than €1,000 to wind up with some budget OTA’s telephone hotline in case anything goes wrong.

Baggage and Other Fees
Economy fares not including hold luggage are industry standard by now. In most cases, travel agencies charge much higher baggage fees than the airlines themselves. If bags are not included in your fare, airlines are often the cheaper alternative.

This also applies to other things like food services, insurances or priority treatment. In almost all cases, you pay less for additional amenities when booking on the airlines’ website.
